expendables_posterFinally, a complete action dose in the theatre! What more do you need when you have Hollywood’s greatest action heroes thrashing the bad guys all in the same frame! It was worth the money for sure! Check out the IMDB page.

Gist: Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) leads the “Expendables”, a band of highly skilled mercenaries including knife enthusiast Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) , martial arts expert Yin Yang (Jet Li), heavy weapons specialist Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), demolitionist Toll Road (Randy Couture) and loose-cannon sniper Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren). When the group is commissioned by the mysterious Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) to assassinate the merciless dictator of a small South American island, Barney and Lee head to the remote locale to scout out their opposition. Once there, they meet with local rebel Sandra and discover the true nature of the conflict engulfing the city. When they escape the island and Sandra stays behind, Ross must choose to either walk away and save his own life – or attempt a suicidal rescue mission that might just save his soul.

Let me tell you that Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke and Arnold Schwarzenegger are ONLY guest appearances in the movie. But the scene where Arnold makes his entry has a nice dialogue by Stallone which may crack up the whole theatre! All in all a great action movie, especially for action fans… this is a must watch! The killing, blood oozing is not very gruesome, but it did remind of the last release of the “Rambo” series (again a Stallone movie). Was expecting it to be a blockbuster though… but its not so. Even though this is just 1.5 hours, its worth it, total action and total entertainment.
